Environnements Dangereux
Cet équipement est conçu pour être utilisé dans des environnements de Classe 1 ,Division 2, Groupes A, B, C, D
ou non dangereux. La mise en garde suivante s’applique à une utilisation dans des environnements dangereux.
WARNING!
RISQUE D’EXPLOSION
• La substitution decomposants peut rendre ce matériel inacceptable pour les emplacements de
Classe I, Division 2.
• Avant de déconnecter l’equipment, couper le courant ou s’assurer que l’emplacement est désigné
non dangereux.
This equipment is suitable for use in Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D hazardous locations when installed
using the Class 1, Division 2 installation kit (P/N MKIT0109).
Contents of the Class 1, Division 2 Installation Kit:
• WIN1212 Surge Suppression Unit
• DC cable for connection between the power supply unit (PSU) and the WIN1212 unit
To install the equipment in a hazardous location, do the following:
1. Connect a DC cable between the PSU and WIN1212 unit.

2. Connect a Category 5e cable between the WIN1212's Data and Power Output connections and the base
station. For more information, refer to the RUGGEDCOM WIN1210/1212 Installation Guide.
3. Connect a Category 5e cable between the Ethernet switch and the WIN1212's Data Input port.
