23.4 Upgrading from Desigo V6.2 Update (or Update
2) to V6.2 Update 3
We recommend that you upgrade to Desigo V6.2 Update 3, to benefit from the
newest features, improvements in hardware and software compatibility, the
latest bug fixes, and to generally experience the best quality of our product.
23.4.1 Upgrading for Tool and Localization Managers in the
Regional Companies (RC)
Upgrading from Desigo V6.2 Update (or Update 2) to V6.2
Update 3 in the Regional Company (RC)

1. Install the XWP V6.2 Update 3 tool and library. Install the ABT Site/Pro V4.0
tool and libraries.
For details, see the release notes for the applicable tool: XWP, ABT Pro, and
ABT Site.
2. Convert the RC local library (XWP and ABT Pro) and name it RC local library
V6.2 Update 3.
3. Install the RC local library V6.2 Update 3 (XWP and ABT Pro).
