3 Part C: System Compatibility

3.1 IT Environment Compatibility

This section identifies Desigo CC software compatibility with external software

relating to its operation.

3.1.1 Operating Systems

The Desigo CC Server, FEP, and Installed Clients run on the following Microsoft

operating systems and editions:

● Microsoft® Windows 7 64-bit (Professional and Enterprise)

● Microsoft® Windows 10 64-bit (Professional and Enterprise)

● Microsoft® Windows Server 2012 R2 64-bit

● Microsoft® Windows Server 2016 64-bit

● Microsoft® Windows Server 2019 64-bit

Desigo CC is compatible with .NET Framework version 4.7.2 or higher.

Web Clients and Windows App Clients run on the following Microsoft operating

systems and editions:

● Microsoft® Windows 7 64-bit (Professional and Enterprise)

● Microsoft® Windows 10 64-bit (Professional and Enterprise)

Web Clients are compatible only with Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.

Web Clients are compatible only with Microsoft Internet Explorer 11. However, due

to the lifecycle plan for Internet Explorer and cybersecurity vulnerabilities found on

some underlaying protocols used by this web browser, we strongly recommend the

use of other types of clients: Flex Client, Windows App client or Installed client.

Flex Clients run on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox and Safari and have

been tested on Microsoft Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android operating systems.

In case of using Firefox web browser, hardware acceleration must be disabled for a

proper visualization of graphics..

Windows 7 support

Microsoft has already announced the end of support for Windows 7. Therefore,

even if we declare that Desigo CC V4.2 can run on Windows 7, we cannot ensure

fixes for issues which are operating system specific. Windows 7 will be removed

from the list of compatible operating systems in the next version of Desigo CC.

We strongly recommend using Windows 10 or any of the other compatible

operating systems instead.

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
