1 Part A: System Overview

The Desigo CC management platform presents a single point of entry for users to

operate, monitor and optimize building automation, fire safety and security systems

or a combination thereof.

Desigo CC is a flexible, full client-server architecture allowing scalability from small

and medium to large and complex systems. The platform provides customizable-

and market-specific distributions.

Desigo CC can be installed on one single computer, with full server and client

functionality. Furthermore, Installed, Web, Windows App or Flex Clients can also

be added on separate hardware. Additional system connections can be made

through systems installed with Desigo CC Front End Processors (FEP)

configurations. Web interfaces provide the customer an increased flexibility for

operation and future extensions, e.g. mobile applications for tablets and smart

phones.

Based on Desigo CC software different products with their own brands have been

created to give an answer to different market needs:

● Desigo CC: Full software package designed for all types of project sizes

combining one or multiple building disciplines.

● Cerberus DMS: Full software package designed for all types of project sizes

combining one or multiple danger management disciplines.

● Desigo CC Compact BA: With a restricted set of features and limits, specifically

oriented from small to medium projects focused on Building Automation and

3rd party integrations.

● Desigo CC Compact Electrical Applications: With a restricted set of features

and limits, specifically oriented from small to medium projects focused on the

electrical market and 3

party integrations.

● Desigo CC Compact Validated Monitoring: With a restricted set of features and

limits, specifically oriented from small to medium validated facilities that require

21CRF11 certification.

● Desigo CC Connect: With a restricted set of features and limits specifically

designed to act as an intelligent gateway, Desigo CC Connect allows the

connection between the subsystems and 3rd party management stations. As a

gateway product, it does not offer a user interface for operations.
