2 Introduction
2.1 About this document
The mounting and installation guide is targeted at
· Engineers
· Panel builders and factory installers
· Electricians
· Engineers
The mounting and installation guide provides all the information needed by the
aforementioned personnel for:
The proper mounting and wiring of Desigo TRA in the cabinet / in the
installation box and connections to the plant.
An overview of the room automation station product range and its design is
provided for general understanding.
The mounting and installation guide is provided to internal engineering personnel
at Siemens Building Technologies and system houses with information on the
following topics:
– Transformer sizing
– Wiring topology and sizing
– Installation variants for room automation station.
– Regulations and notes.
The mounting and installation guide includes all documentation in the form of text
and images required fort he aforementioned target groups and intended use.
It does not include information of plant-specific mounting and wiring work. This
information is available in the appropriate project documentation.
