7.5.1.4 LED status indicator
Possible LED states
The operating states of the transponder are indicated by the LEDs. The states can be off
,
on and flashing .
RADIO LED (D1) Meaning
Is off when the device is inactive
Flashes once every 0.5 seconds when a test is conducted during device start.
Test when starting the device to test proper operation of the LEDs and the device.
You have to monitor all three LEDs of the device when you switch on the supply
voltage. All three LEDs are flashing simultaneously for about 0.5 seconds to indi‐
cate that the device and LEDs are in operation.
RUN LED (D2) Meaning
Is off when the device is inactive
Flashes once every 0.5 seconds when a test is conducted during device start.
Test when starting the device to test proper operation of the LEDs and the device.
You have to monitor all three LEDs of the device when you switch on the supply
voltage. All three LEDs are flashing simultaneously for about 0.5 seconds to indi‐
cate that the device and LEDs are in operation.
Flashes every three seconds when the device is in SLOW state.
Flashes permanently when the device is in FAST state.
BUS LED (D3) Meaning
Is off when the device is inactive
