8.2 Inserting and removing the card from LOGO!
When you remove a LOGO! memory card, a combined memory/battery card, or an SD card
that contains a circuit program with copy protection attributes, note the following: The circuit
program stored on the card can only be executed if the card remains inserted during system
runtime.
After you have removed the card, LOGO! outputs the message 'No Program'. A removal of
the card during RUN will lead to impermissible operating states.
Always heed the following warning:
WARNING
Do not touch the open slot of the memory card or SD card with your fingers or with a
metallic or conductive object. Death or personal injury may result.
The memory card/SD card socket might be under voltage if the polarity is accidentally
reversed at L1 and N.
The memory card, battery card, or combined memory/battery card must only be removed
by qualified personnel using the directions below.
Removing the memory card, battery card or combined memory/battery card
To remove the memory card, carefully insert a screwdriver with a 3-mm blade into the
groove on the upper end of the card, and lever the module partially out of the slot. You can
now remove the memory card.
