SIMATIC ET 200S24
Interface modules for bus connection
ET 200S is connected to the bus system via the interface mod-
ule – either to the field-proven PROFIBUS or to PROFINET, the
open Industrial Ethernet standard.
Various interface modules can be chosen, which all provide
for channel-specific diagnostics:

The electronic rating plate contains identification data saved
in a module, e.g. order number, product version, installation
date, plant identification, which unequivocally identify the
module and are available online, to simplify troubleshooting,
for example.

The integral 2-port switch of the IM 151-3 now also easily
permits a linear structure in addition to the star topology.

Also available as a SIPLUS component for extended
temperature range -40 °C … +70 °C and corrosive atmo-
