4 Applications
4.1 Overview
ACS Alarm provides the following applications:
Alarm:
Alarms from the central unit or plant are received, stored, displayed and output on
a printer.
System report:
Information from the central unit or plant is received, stored, displayed and output
on a printer.
4.2 Alarm
4.2.1 Introduction to the "Alarm" application
Every alarm received from the plant is entered on an alarm list.
Signaling of incoming alarms can be configured as follows:
An acoustic signal is given
A popup window opens
An output on a printer is made
Any combination of the above
On the alarm list, the columns can be selected by the user and the column names and
arrangement of the individual columns can be configured.
The alarm list can be printed out.
The entire alarm list can be exported as an ASCII file. Also, for further handling by
other programs, incoming alarms are automatically exported to an ASCII file.
