Versions and compatibility 3 Versions and compatibility 3.1 AlgoWorks 3.1.1 Program and setup version The new AlgoWorks setup version for EP7F-Z2.2 is V1.63.0-000. It is a full setup and the program version is V1.63. Parallel installations with older EP7F AlgoWorks versions are not possible. Therefore, older EP7F AlgoWorks programs must be uninstalled first, before the new installation can be started. Please see also documents [1], [2] and [3] for further information. 3.1.
Versions and compatibility 3.2 Embedded software CS1140/45 3.2.1 Program and setup version The current embedded software setup version for EP7F-Z2.2 is 800. It is a full setup and other embedded software versions may be installed in parallel without problems. Please see document [1], [2] and [3] for further information. 3.2.2 Program / site compatibility The embedded software version 800 is backwards compatible to older versions, but the customer side data has to be converted as well.
Versions and compatibility 3.2.3 Variants of embedded software There are two different variants of embedded SW: EPROM variants for the old HW types (E3X101, B3Q460/480/485, B3Q560, E3X120, E3H020) – FLASH variants for the new HW types (E3X102/103, B3Q660/661/680/685, B3Q565, E3H021) – For checksums of the different versions, please see the detailed documentation which is provided together with the embedded SW on the Tool Coordinator installation CD.

Unfortunately the remote transmission is not getting activated. This could be a problem if overlapping remote transmissions is programmed. Channels used as sounder lines Sounder tones are not synchronized between different Transponders devices on the same FDnet. However the two sounder lines on the same Transponder are synchronized. Therefore the new setup version 1.63.1-000 must be carried out to update the AlgoWorks online help environment. Manually adaptation has to be done as well. 12.4.
Update procedures 12.4.3 Update from setup version 1.63.0-000 to 1.63.1-000 directly If you carry out the new AlgoWorks installation 1.63.1-000 directly, the following information will be shown during the setup sequence. Earlier created country versions within the folder “AW1_6” have to be updated manually by copying the content into to corresponding folders.
Update procedures 12.5 Update BDV Configuration 12.5.1 Update to xx_114x_790_xx If some minor country modifications have to be done to get a country adapted version, it might be the best to create a new country version, based on international versions J0_1140_790_02 and J0_1145_790_02 and redo the minor changes on the new country version again. If some major country modifications have to be done, the head quarter is able to re-use some parts from a BDV version based on J0_114x_780_03.
