Introduction 2 Introduction 2.1 Purpose of the document The document describes the differences between EP7F-SR1 and EP7F-SR2. It is intended for Tool Coordinators, who need to known what is new and/or different in EP7F-SR2. 2.2 General focus on EP7F-SR2 AlgoRex EP7F-SR2 has been manly done for bug fixing. A new AlgoWorks setup and a new Embedded Software setup has been made. The BDV versions are the same as in EP7F-SR1. 3 Supported operating systems Operating system Microsoft Windows NT 4.
Versions and compatibility 4 Versions and compatibility 4.1 Embedded software versions There are two different types of embedded SW: – EPROM variants for the old HW types (E3X101, B3Q460/80/85, B3Q560, E3X120, E3H020) – FLASH variants for the new HW types (E3X102/3, B3Q660/70/80/85, B3Q565) For checksums of the different versions please see the detailed documentation which is provided together with the embedded SW on the Tool Coordinator installation CD.
Versions and compatibility 4.1.1 Repaired bugs in Embedded-SW 737 4.1.1.1 LED presentation on online mode (IPUS 5223) Bug description The LED presentation on structure 1450 (parallel indicators) is not correct during the online mode. Bug corrected. The LED presentation is correct during online mode. 4.1.1.2 Function “Switch off” on a ZO control (IPUS 5224) Bug description A ZO control cannot be switched off, if no elements are created below this zone. Bug corrected.
Versions and compatibility 4.1.1.6 Incorrect display of customer text (IPUS 5361) Bug description The CT panel does not display the selection “1: Cust. Text 1” correctly, on field 1347 (Tree title mode), in combination with structure 1390 (FU CT panel). Bug corrected. The selection will be displayed correctly on the CT panel. 4.1.1.7 Intervention Text (IPUS 5362) Bug description The intervention text is only available, if the organisation is “manned” and the time v1 is not up. Bug corrected.
Versions and compatibility 4.1.1.11 Display cursor initialization (IPUS 5414) Bug description The initialization of display curser is not always correctly. See also MI342e. Initialization corrected. 4.1.1.12 Faulty acknowledge on restricted CT panels (IPUS 5416) Bug description An AREA visibility on a CT panel can be defined as “2: sample”. The alarms from this area will generate a message “FIRE ALARM adjacent area” on the restricted CT panel.
Versions and compatibility 4.1.2 Repaired bugs in Embedded-SW 738 4.1.2.1 C-Bus connectivity (BTQ00003522) Bug description From customer installations with many C-Bus participants we get reports that under certain circumstances it could happen that information between the stations (C-Bus participants) is not correctly synchronized among the stations. E.g. terminals show different information. 4.1.3 Bug corrected. See also FD_06_007_MI_C-Bus-Connection_en. Repaired bugs in Embedded-SW 739 4.1.3.
Versions and compatibility 4.2 New firmware version for B3Q59x 4.2.1 Repaired bugs in firmware V5.0 4.2.1.1 Buzzer switch off, if remote transmission is active (IPUS 5072) Bug description The buzzer does not switch off, if the remote transmission is active. This behaviour happens if the country code 11 is set. Bug corrected. The buzzer switches off now. 4.2.1.
Versions and compatibility 4.3 AlgoWorks Software Toolset AlgoWorks EP7F still runs on Microsoft Windows NT4, Win2000 and WinXP See related document [1]. 4.3.1 New AlgoWorks setup version 1.37.0-000 The AlgoWorks setup 1.37.0-000 is a full setup. Therefore the old setup has to be uninstalled. 4.3.2 Changes within the AlgoWorks definition files 4.3.2.1 Changes within the file MenuCfgData.xls No changes were made within the file MenuCfgData.xls.
Versions and compatibility 4.3.4 Station Management 4.3.4.1 Changed Reports All report types, except Node Reports, were reengineered. Use the output type HTML only to view the reports. Not advisable to use for printing. Use the output type printer to print a report. If you want to have a view and printable file type, install a PDF generator on your PC and select the output type printer to generate such a PDF file. We recommend installing the Acrobat Distiller. 4.3.4.2 SAM-Help See page 15. 4.3.

The Reports has been reengineered. (See page 14) 4.3.7.2 Column “Description”(IPUS 5186) Bug description The column "Description” (inside the dialog "Set. Loc. Index, Create Element and Link") " is not shown if a valid localisation index is selected. Bug corrected. The column will be shown if a valid index is selected.

Text line 1” (IPUS 5283) Bug description If a zone is moved from one section to the first position of another section, with help of the drag and drop manipulation, the „Cust. text line1“ wont be set correctly. Bug corrected. The section texts will be set to the correct value. 4.3.7.6 Labels of SIM sub windows (IPUS 5302) Bug description Each sub window within SIM, such as Archive or Disk, has its own label.

Bug corrected. Earlier version wont be uploaded correctly. 4.3.8.2 Invisible padlock icon (IPUS 5250) Bug description Within the ADD (AlgoWorks Data Definition file, visibility of fields) the combination of attribute locked (L) and Data Type VBITSET8 wont shown the padlock icon in front of the field within AlgoWorks.
Versions and compatibility 4.5 Install-Shield 4.5.1 Necessary updates To have the necessary installation on your PC, please install all update packages, which are available on the Tool coordinators cd. See folder cd:\Setup_TC\InstallShield and install the packages refer to document [1]. 4.5.2 Adaptation on ST-Project The install shield project for service technician has been created by the head quarter and is available after a Tool coordinators installation.

Update procedures 5 Update procedures 5.1 AlgoWorks 5.1.1 Overview The AlgoWorks setup 1.37.0-000 is a full setup. Therefore the old setup has to be uninstalled. Update procedures Choose a new country code during the installation If you do not use a new country code, the directory that corresponds to the old country code (e.g. …/AW1_3/JX_01_CFG) will be overwritten and all adaptations are lost. You have to do the adaptations again. A new directory (which corresponds to the prompted country code, e.g. JX_02) will be created during the installation. Explorer view This directory was overwritten. This directory was new created.
Update procedures Procedure to overtake and adapt the old AlgoWorks files 1. Copy all help topics into the new AlgoWorks variant directories. Explorer view After the installation, the directory JX_02_CFG has the same topics like the overwritten J0_CFG directory. To overtake all already made country help adaptations to the new AlgoWorks configuration, copy the content from ..\ JX_01_CFG \.. to ..\ JX_02_CFG \.. Delete the files and directories within the folder ..\ JX_02_CFG\TC_Sources_CFG \HELP_SOURCES .

Update procedures 5.1.3 The customizing process was NOT started yet The AlgoWorks version 1.35.0-000 must be installed and uninstalled first to overtake the online help projects. Like it is written on page 14, because of irrelevant topics within AlgoWorks setup 1.37.0-000. Procedure to be followed to overtake the AlgoWorks 1.35.0-000 help files 1. Install AlgoWorks version 1.35.0-000 by using the setup program. 2. Remove AlgoWorks version 1.35.0-000 by using the setup program. 3.
Update procedures 4. Copy all help topics from the AlgoWorks version 1.35.0-000 into the new AlgoWorks version 1.37.0-000 directories. Explorer view Created after setup 1.35, if country code set to JX_00. To overtake the hole help from AlgoWorks version 1.35 to 1.37, copy the content from ..\ JX_00_CFG \.. to ..\ JX_01_CFG \.. Update procedures 5.2 New Embedded Software It is not possible to have installed Embedded Software versions 736, 737, 738 and 739 at the same time. You must uninstall the 736, 737 or 738 Embedded Software versions first. It can be removed from the PC by using the setup procedure described in document [2]. Procedure to install the Embedded Software 739 – Uninstall the old setup Standard EmbeddedSW Package or Asia EmbeddedSW Package.
