z Application

– The DZB1191 base tester is handy and simple means of testing the detection line

and detector base connections.

– The base tester is inserted in the detector base like a detector. Bases can be tested

during installation either individually or consecutively after installation is completed.

– Any faults caused when connecting the detection line network to the fire detector ba-

ses can be eliminated by using the base tester.

Time saving – Experience shows that an installed base can be checked with the base tester in about 30 seconds. On the basis of an installation with 150 detector bases this means testing would take approx. 75 minutes. – Based on our extensive experience, the time required to trace the faults without use of the base tester (based on an installation of 150 detector bases and 3 faults) is about 4 to 6 hours.
