Detector revision process Exchange detectors Disassembly ■ Technician comes on site, ■ Upper shell, antistatic grill, removes the soiled detectors. labyrinth and shielding plate are removed. ■ At the same time, technician ■ All parts are visually checked replaces with revised detectors. and defective parts are eliminated. ■ Soiled detectors are sent to Cleaning of components ■ The basic module is cleaned with compressed air in a special vacuum device.
Testing Workflow ■ 100% testing of every detector to ensure range of sensitivity and alarm activation. ■ Software updates and ■ Workflow after disassembly, cleaning and testing. ■ Approx. 1,000,000 detectors are reconditioned every year. Labeling & Packing ■ After reassembly and final testing, the CE label is placed on every detector and the detectors are packaged individually.
