SCU Migration Kit

Product Description
The SCU Migration Kit allows the replacement of an
existing Standalone Control Unit (SCU) or a
previously migrated SCU to Modular Building
Controller (MBC) or Modular Equipment Controller
(MEC) while keeping the same enclosure and field
wiring.
The SCU Migration Kit is Smoke Control and Energy
Management listed when installed per this
instruction.
Migration Kit consists of:
 Perforated backplane (20x16-3/4x1/2”)
designed to mount in SCU enclosure
 Two 20” DIN Rails (35x7.5x1mm) installed
 Three 9.5” and three 4.5” wire tie bars
 Sixteen DO wire nuts
 Power cables
 Mounting hardware
 Decal

 7/16 socket and drive
Expected Installation Time
10 minutes for installation of backplane.
Compliance
NOTE:
A Migration Kit is required for Smoke
Control applications. Select the appropriate
Product Number for the existing enclosure.
Prerequisites
Existing hardware has been removed and new parts
ordered.
