Launch Pad Overview Launch Pad Overview Launch Pad provides easy access to the applications required for configuring, monitoring, and controlling the Building Automation System. It includes the BACnet Field Panel Web User Interface (FPWeb UI) as standard. During the installation of Launch Pad (an Adobe AIR application), the FPWeb UI files are automatically installed on the hard drive.
Installing the Launch Pad Application Installing the Launch Pad Application Prerequisite Any previously installed stand-alone version of Launch Pad must be removed before installing Launch Pad through the Firmware Tools installation package. Steps 1. Double-click the appropriate installer package (32-bit or 64-bit) and follow the installation prompts. 2. On the installer’s Custom Setup screen, ensure that the Launch Pad application will be installed on the local hard drive. 3.

The Adobe AIR-based FPWeb UI starts within the Siemens Launch Pad window. The FPWeb UI Welcome Page displays within the Siemens Launch Pad window. 2. Enter a valid Hostname/IP, Username, and Password. 3. To save your login information, select the Save Login Info check box. 4. Click Login. 5.

Adding another Application Shortcut Button to the Siemens Launch Pad Adding another Application Shortcut Button to the Siemens Launch Pad Adding an application shortcut button to the Siemens Launch Pad allows you to easily start a commonly-used application (such as the ABT Site) using Launch Pad. To add another application shortcut button to the Siemens Launch Pad: 1. Click the Add Application button on the Siemens Launch Pad home page. The Add Application dialog box displays: 2.

(Optional) In the Description field, enter a description of the application to be added to the shortcut button. Recommended characters limit is 35 characters. Example: Type SystemOne Tool. 10. Click Add. The application shortcut button is added in alphabetical order on the Siemens Launch Pad home page. NOTE: The shortcut button information cannot be edited.
