MEC Migration Kits

Product Description
The MEC Migration Kits allow replacement of an
existing Modular Equipment Controller (MEC) or
Point Expansion Module (PXM) while keeping the
same enclosure and field wiring.
Each kit includes the following components:
 Two DIN rails
 One MEC Power Termination Block (PTB) for
reuse of existing MEC service box to power
new field panel
 Siemens Logo for updating older doors

PXA-MEC34KIT MEC Large Migration Kit.
Includes two 28” DIN rails
and MEC PTB.
PXA-MEC24KIT MEC in SCU Migration Kit.
Includes two 20” DIN rails
and MBC PTB.
PXA-MEC19KIT MEC Small Migration Kit.
Includes two 12.5” DIN rails
and MEC PTB.

Compliance
CAUTION:
Use of the Migration Kit without the MEC
enclosure voids all UL, CSA, and FCC
approvals, as well as European EMC and
LVD compliance.
NOTE:
A Migration Kit is required for Smoke
Control applications. Select the appropriate
Product Number for the existing enclosure.
Prerequisites
Existing hardware has been removed and new parts
ordered.
