Product Description
Ferrite filters are required with the PTM6.2Y10S and
PTM6.2Y10S-M modules. Two (2) ferrite filters are
included with each 2Y10S and 2Y10S-M module.
NOTE: This installation instruction is for installing
the ferrite filter. See Installation Instructions
(545-404) and (545-405) for termination
block and point module installation.

Required Tools

Instructions
1. Gather all the wires leading into a 2Y10S or
2Y10S-M Point Termination Module.
2. Snap the ferrite filter around the group of wires
so that all wiring runs through the center of the
ferrite filter (Figure 1).
A second filter is provided in case you cannot
run all the wires through the one filter.
NOTE: The ferrite filter(s) must be installed
inside the cabinet and as close to the
2Y10S or 2Y10S-M modules as
possible.
The installation is now complete.
