DPU/MPU Migration Kit

Product Description
The DPU Migration Kit allows replacement of an
existing DPU or MPU with TX-I/O modules, while
keeping the same enclosure and field wiring.
This kit includes the following components:
 One perforated backplane.
 Accessory kit that includes the following:
 Two DIN rails.
 Three wire tie bars.
 Twenty-four 14 to 22 AWG wire nuts.
 Two mounting nuts.

Expected Installation Time
 10 minutes for installation of backplane
Compliance
CAUTION:
Use of a backplane without the DPU or
MPU enclosure voids all UL, CSA, and
FCC approvals, as well as European EMC
and LVD compliance.
NOTE:
A Migration Kit and appropriate
transformer is required for Smoke Control
applications. Select the appropriate
Product Number for the existing enclosure
and power requirements.
Prerequisites
Existing hardware has been removed and new parts
ordered.
