Overview Prerequisites Overview The APOGEE ALN Tools Installer allows you to automatically install: ● BACnet Field Panel Firmware files ● FINlite Graphics Tool ● Siemens Launch Pad ● WCIS files Prerequisites Before using the Installer, be sure the following prerequisites are met: ● You must have Administrator rights on the computer.
Using the Installer Using the Installer The Installer is available from Standard Apps/Partner Extranet. NOTICE Be sure you are using the appropriate version of the Installer. The 32-bit Installer can only be used on 32-bit computers, and the 64-bit Installer can only be used on 64-bit computers. 1. Double-click the Installer file (APOGEE ALN Tools.msi). The APOGEE ALN Tools Setup wizard displays. 2. Follow the installation prompts until the Custom Setup screen displays. 3.
Using the Installer 8. Continue with the Setup Wizard prompts. The installation is complete. The files have been installed to the chosen location. All files are accessible through the Start button, and FINlite, Launch Pad and WCIS shortcuts have also been created on your desktop. Siemens Industry, Inc.
Changing, Repairing, or Removing Files Changing, Repairing, or Removing Files Once the Firmware Tools have been installed, you must use the Installer to change, repair, or remove the files. 1. Double-click the Installer file (APOGEE ALN Tools.msi). 2. Follow the installation prompts until the Change, repair, or remove installation screen displays. ● ● ● The Change button allows you to change the files which are installed and their installation location.
