Description
The UC (Unitary Controller) or FLNC (Floor Level
Network Controller) Migration Kit contains a backplane,
DIN Rail, and accessory kit designed to efficiently
migrate existing UCs or FLNCs to the latest state-of-
the-art hardware platform while leveraging past system
investments.
The Migration Kit is an integral part of the complete
Fast Forward Migration solution, specially developed to
control migration costs and minimize downtime and
disruptions. The UC or FLNC Migration Kit backplane
fits inside the enclosure and uses existing conduit and
wiring. The backplane supports the installation of one
PXC Compact controller or one P1 Bus Interface
Module (P1BIM) with three TX-I/O™ Module for UC
Migration or one PXC Modular and one RS-485 module
for FLNC Migration. UC Migration reuses the existing
transformer. FLNC Migration must use a new
transformer.
Other physical system assets remain, including
Insight® 3.x workstation, TECs, most sensors, and
controlled devices. Additional system investments are
also preserved, including system engineering,
programming, databases, graphics, training, initial
system configuration, and commissioning.
Features
The backplane assembly can be used within an
existing Unitary Controller enclosure or existing
FLNC enclosure.
Accessory kit included with backplane assembly
provides:
Two 9.5” (241 mm) wire tie bars.
One 12” (508 mm) DIN rail.
Ground cable.
Power cables for UC.
One UC Bezel Cover Plate.
One1 MMI extension cable bracket (extension
cable 545-712 must be ordered separately)
Mounting hardware and wire nuts.
Has sufficient room for one either PXC Compact
Controller, one P1 BIM with up to three TX-I/O
Modules, or one PXC Modular and RS-485 module
(controllers and modules sold separately).
Flexibility to mount controller to ease re-termination
of wires.
Uses standard PXC Compact Controller, or P1BIM
with TX-I/O modules or PXC Modular Controller.
Migration decal for the UC or FLNC Door.
Optional Wire Extender Kit available.
Optional DIN Kit available.
