Unpacking and Lifting the Drive
The weights of the drives vary greatly according to the size. You may need to use
special lifting equipment to remove the drive from its package. Note the weights of
each individual frame size in the table below.

If you require special lifting equipment, see the figure in the Lifting frames FS8 and
FS9 section for lifting instructions.
Lifting Frames FS8 and FS9
NOTES:
1. First detach the drive from the pallet it has been bolted to.
2. Place the lifting hooks symmetrically in at least two holes. The lifting device
must be able to carry weight of the drive.
3. The maximum allowed lifting angle is 45 degrees.
