Flange Mount
The drive can also be recessed into the cabinet wall or similar surface. A special
flange mount option is available for this purpose. For further information see the
Siemens BT300 Flange Mount Kits for Frames FS4 to FS7 Mounting Instructions
(DPD01156).
Cooling
The drive produces heat when operating and is cooled down with air circulated by a
fan. Ensure that enough free space is left around the drive for air circulation and
cooling.
Ensure that the temperature of the cooling air does not exceed the maximum
ambient operating temperature of the drive. See Chapter 7 – Technical Data for
more information.
