NOTICE
When planning the cable runs, remember to keep the distance between the
Ethernet cable and the motor cable at a minimum of 11.8 in (30 cm).

1. Strip about 0.6 in (15 mm) of the RS-485 cable (see the specification table in
this section) and cut off the gray cable shield. Do this for both bus cables.
2. Leave no more than 0.4 in (10 mm) of the cable outside the terminal block and
strip the cables at about 0.2 in (5 mm) to fit in the terminals. See the following
illustration.
