Battery Installation for Real Time Clock (RTC)
To enable the
Real Time Clock (RTC)
functions, a battery has been installed in the
Siemens BT300 HVAC Drive.
Use a 1/2 AA battery with voltage of 3.6V and capacity of 1000 to 1200 mAh (for
example, Panasonic BR-1/2 AA or Vitzrocell SB-AA02). The battery will last
approximately ten years.
The place for the battery can be found in all frames left to the control keypad (see
the figure in the
Control Unit
section on page [➙ 50]).
Detailed information on the functions of the Real Time Clock (RTC)
can be found in
the
Siemens BT300 HVAC Drive Operator's Manual
(DPD01809).
Galvanic Isolation Barriers
The control connections are isolated from line voltage potential and the GND
terminals are permanently connected to ground. See the following figure.
The digital inputs are galvanically isolated from the I/O ground. The relay outputs
are additionally double-isolated from each other at 300 Vac (EN-50178).
