2 Overview of normal BDV mode 2 Overview of normal BDV mode Normal BDV mode is suited to configuring a fire detection installation in which complex configurations are not needed. Normal BDV mode is a subset of expert BDV mode. Functions which are not frequently used are hidden. The simplifications in normal BDV mode make it easier to configure a fire detection installation in a suitable application and/or area.
Simplifications in normal BDV mode and limitation for the system 3 3 Simplifications in normal BDV mode and limitation for the system The following table contains the main simplifications in normal BDV mode of the Cerberus Engineering Tool compared with expert BDV mode and the associated limitation in the system.
