Identity as a Service is an authentication infrastructure that is
managed by Siemens.
IoT
Internet of Things
IT/OT
Information technology/operational technology network. Information
technology/operational technology network. An IT network is used for
electronic devices in an office, e.g., PCs, printers, etc. An OT network
is used for hardware and software to detect or bring about changes in
the physical processes through direct monitoring and control of
physical devices such as valves, pumps, etc.

SSH
Secure Shell (SSH) is a cryptographic network protocol for operating
network services securely over an unsecured network.
TCP
Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) is the standard protocol on
TCP/IP networks. TCP permits two host to connect and exchange
data streams.
TLS
Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a cryptographic protocol offering
end-to-end communications security over networks and is widely
used for Internet communications and online transactions.
UDP
User Datagram Protocol (UDP) is a communication protocol similar to
TCP. It allows two hosts to connect and exchange data streams.
VPN
Virtual Private Network (VPN) extends a private network over a public
network allowing uses to send and receive data over a shared or
public network.
WAN
A wide area network (WAN) is a telecommunications network that
extends over a large geographical area for the primary purpose of
computer networking.
