5 Edit notifications
Incidents can be forwarded by email or SMS to subscribers. Category filters for each
subscriber can limit forwarding of incidents. Notifications can also be switched off
temporarily for a subscriber, for example, during vacation.
Notifications must be setup for each site.
5.1 Email notification
5.1.1 Set up
A notification is always setup on one site.
1. Select a facility and then Notifications .
2. Select ADD SUBSCRIBER.
3. Select Email.
4. Enter the appropriate data in the Name and Email address fields.
Ensure the email address is correct. Cerberus Portal does not check whether the
email address is valid.
5. Under Event categories, select the check box to activate notifications for a
category. The selection may vary by region.
6. Select Save.
The new subscriber is created.
The new notification is activated.
