9 Connect tunnel

Cerberus Tunnel is remotely connected to the fire detection system via the Cerberus

Portal to use Cerberus-Remote and remotely access the Cerberus-Engineering-Tool.

You must be properly trained to use this function.

9.1 Create tunnel connection

NOTICE

Avoid connection problems

Do not use the Siemens 'Cloud device' tool to connect. Only connect using the

following workflow.

1. In a supported browser, enter the link:

https://cerberusportal.siemens.com.

2. Log in to the Cerberus Portal.

3. In the navigation bar, select 'Sites'.

4. Select a site from the list if you want to operate multiple sites.

5. On the right side, select 'Connect'.

6. Read the security text before continuing. Select to open a connection.

 The tunnel connection is established and changes from 'Establishing tunnel' to

'Tunnel Connection'.
