Mounting the FCL2004-U1 in a MXL-IQ Enclosure

NOTE: For mounting the FCL2004-U1 module(s) in a MXL-IQ enclosure, refer to the FHA-MIQKIT-

04/FHA-MIQKIT-05 Installation Instructions, Document ID A6V11420345.

With the panel powered down completely:

1. Connect the bundled cable, P/N S54400-A66-A1, from the back of the operating unit at

connector X11 routing it per the diagram, above the top of the periboard and to the first

FCL2004-U1 at connector X600. Both connectors of the cable are keyed.

2. If installing an optional second FCL2004-U1 module, attach the ribbon cable, P/N S54400-

A66-A1, on the first FCL2004-U1 at keyed connector X601 (located next to X600) and the

other end at the second FCL2004-U1 at the keyed connector X601.

NOTE: Nothing will be connected to X600 on the second FCL2004-U1.

3. Using two conductor non-shielded (14-18) gauge wire, connect power feed from X1001 of the

AUX Power connector at the periboard and route to the X500 terminal of the first FCL2004-U1.

Terminal 1(+IN), Terminal 2(-IN), Terminal 3(+OUT), Terminal 4(-OUT). Use terminals 3 and

4(OUT) if continuing 24V Aux power to a second optional FCL2004-U1. The +3 and -4 should

be connected the second FCL2004-U1’s X500, terminals 1(+IN) and 2(-IN). Nothing is to be

connected at terminals 3 and 4 of the second FCL2004-U1’s X500 terminal.

4. For 24V CZM power(OUT), use connector X503. Use 2 conductor non-shielded (16-18) gauge

wire to terminals 1(+) and 4(-) for ALD 1; 2(+) and 3(-) for ALD 2 CZM power.
