F30074 (A) Communication error between the Control Unit and Power Module
Reaction: NONE
Acknowledge: IMMEDIATELY
Cause: Communications between the Control Unit and Power Module via the interface no longer possible. The Control Unit
may have been withdrawn or is incorrectly inserted.
Fault value (r0949, interpret hexadecimal):
0 hex:
The Control Unit was withdrawn from the Power Module during operation.
1 hex:
The Control Unit was withdrawn from the Power Module during operation, although the encoderless safe motion
monitoring functions are enabled. This is not supported. After re-inserting the Control Unit in operation,
communications to the Power Module no longer possible.
20A hex:
The Control Unit was inserted on a Power Module, which has another code number.
20B hex:
The Control Unit was inserted on a Power Module, which although it has the same code number, has a different serial
number. The Control Unit executes an automatic warm restart to accept the new calibration data.
Remedy: For fault value = 0 and 20A hex:
Insert the Control Unit on an appropriate Power Module and continue operation. If required, carry out a POWER ON
of the Control Unit.
For fault value = 1 hex:
Carry out a POWER ON of the Control Unit.
F30080 Power unit: Current increasing too quickly
Reaction: OFF2
Acknowledge: IMMEDIATELY
Cause: The power unit has detected an excessive rate of rise in the overvoltage range.
- closed-loop control is incorrectly parameterized.
- motor has a short-circuit or fault to ground (frame).
- U/f operation: Up ramp set too low.
- U/f operation: rated current of motor much greater than that of power unit.
- power cables are not correctly connected.
- power cables exceed the maximum permissible length.
- power unit defective.
Fault value (r0949, interpret bitwise binary):
Bit 0: Phase U.
Bit 1: Phase V.
Bit 2: Phase W.
Remedy: - check the motor data - if required, carry out commissioning.
- check the motor circuit configuration (star-delta)
- U/f operation: Increase up ramp.
- U/f operation: Check assignment of rated currents of motor and power unit.
- check the power cable connections.
- check the power cables for short-circuit or ground fault.
- check the length of the power cables.
- replace power unit.
