DESIGO™ INSIGHT OPEN

EIB client

The INSIGHT OPEN EIB client offers a standard integration solution for commu-

nications and for the exchange of information between DESIGO INSIGHT and an

EIB

network, based on the OPC standard.

Function

The INSIGHT OPEN EIB client offers the following features:

• Access to network data without specialized EIB knowledge

• Compliant with OPC DA 2.0

• Compatible with EIBA engineering tool ETS2 V1.2

• Automatic import of EIB data from the EIBA toolset (ETS)

• Based on a standard interface for any automation network

• Client operates in a client/server architecture

• Can work in DCOM mode: (client can be on a remote machine on TCP/IP)

• Multi-client compatibility

• Compliance with EIBA-certified products
