Associate procedures to points
Typically, the operating procedures are automatically applied to MM8000 points
according to the typical event mapping. However, you can disable the automatic
mechanism for some or all procedures:
Enable Auto assignment: Un-check this box (see Fig. 34, D).
In order to associate operating procedures to individual points, customise the
Event and OP extensor tab with the following steps (see Fig. 37):
(A) Default settings: Un-check this box.
If it is checked, then the point will get the default events and operating pro-
cedure assignments for all its properties.
Note: Whatever you modified after un-checking the box, you can always go
back to the default setting by simply checking this option again.
(C) Select virtual property (by clicking in the Generate Event field)
(C6) Enable Auto-assignment: Uncheck the box.
If it is checked, the point will get the default operating procedure assign-
ments for all its properties. If the auto-assignment is not checked, you can
manually assign a procedure for each point property.
Note: Whatever you modified after un-checking the box, you can always go
back to the default setting by simply checking this option again.
(C6) Operating procedure: Here you can select one of the procedures avail-
able and assign it to the selected property for the event it generates:
