2.6.3 TELSCAN configuration tips
 Check that TELSCAN firmware version is V2.0 or later.
Note that firmware update is possible with the support of the CCTV Hotline.
 Do not forget to transfer to TELSCAN the customisation file from the setting
page in Composer (see p. 17).
 Video applications recommended for TELSCAN:
– MozillaControl15 ActiveX (recommended for better performance and man-
datory for Siemens IP cameras).
Limitation
 MM8000 and MK8000 do not support the TELSCAN connection from a SIMA-
TRIX video out: each camera has to be wired directly to the TELSCAN.
 The IP camera directly connected to the DMS8000 are fixed (no PTZ) and must
be equipped with one of the following communication components: CCIS 1337-
LP (cameras), CFVA-IP or CVVA-IP (domes).
