Referring to Fig.67, note the following configuration settings:
– User Allen Brimley is a member of the Advanced Operator Group 1
(Fig.67-A).
– In
the Fire Safety Profile, the Advanced Operator Group 1 (Fig.67-B) is as-
sign
ed permissions or privileges – in this case, it has Full Control privileges
(Fig.67-C).
What the group users can see and control is determined, e.g. in the Fire Pro-
tection folder, by the associated Profile Id (Fig.67-D) and the related permis-
sion
s (Fig.67-E).
An additional profile (Intrusion Profile, not shown in the figure) is associated to
the Intrusion Protection folder. On this profile, the Advanced Operator
Group 1 will only have Display privileges.
Result: Brimley can see events generated by, and send commands to the CZ10
and CS11EP5 subsystems, which inherit the same profile as the parent folder, but
can only see events and states of the CS4-40 intrusion subsystem.
