Effective automatic pan recognition
Like our traditional induction hobs, the Siemens
flexInduction hob features automatic pan recognition
technology. The flexInduction zone will react to a pan
placed anywhere on the extended cook surface – right up
to the edges.
More reliable small object detection
As each of the unique inductors work independently, the
hob is extremely good at recognising what is – and what
isn’t – a pan. The area of the cook surface under, say, a
discarded spoon will not be activated, even while the pans
on the surface continue to be heated normally.
Better energy efficiency
Only areas of the flexInduction cook surface that are
actually in contact with the cookware are active at any
particular time, so no energy is wasted.
Better heat distribution
The innovative elongated shape of the inductors means
that larger pans enjoy more evenly distributed heat, and
there are no
cool spots“ where the pan is not over an
induction coil, which means your dish will be beautifully
and evenly cooked.
Liberate your pans from
restrictive cook zones with
flexInduction
The hob uses four innovative elongated oval inductors beneath the glass, each of
which can act independently to sense the presence of cookware on the hob. Only
if the cookware is detected will the individual inductors work, ensuring efficient
operation whether a 10cm diameter milk pan is placed in one corner, or a large
griddle plate covers the whole zone.
