1.3 Pin assignments
1.3.1 Basic circuit diagram
The connection module (MoNet) is plugged into the slot for the main network module
(SAFEDLINK) on the PMI & mainboard FCM2027. When using the panel in the
SAFEDLINK network, the network module (SAFEDLINK) can be plugged into the
connection module (MoNet).
The connection module (MoNet) generates the MoNet bus from the peripheral data
bus and the SAFEDLINK bus of the PMI & mainboard. This is required for transmitting
degraded mode signals to the Ethernet switch (modular).
The connection module (MoNet) can be used with or without a network module
(SAFEDLINK).
