Models ILED-SC and ILED-SW
Intelligent Remote Lamps
INTRODUCTION The Models ILED-SC (round plate) and ILED-
SW (rectangular plate) Addressable Remote
Lamps from Siemens Building Technologies,
Inc., shown in Figure 1, operate as an
additional multi-color LED indicator for a
device in the FS-250C System’s FDLC loop
circuit. The ILED-S can be used when a
device already has an accessory. The ILED-S
can be installed at any location of an FDLC
loop, and it remotely indicates the status of
the device(s) in that same loop.
Modes of Operation The ILED-S has two modes of operation:
Passive Mode and Direct Addressing Mode. Use the two-position jumper P1 to set
the mode.
When set to Passive mode, the ILED-S remotely duplicates the on-board LED status
of a device with the same address. In Passive Mode, the ILED-S is not supervised
and cannot relay information to the panel.
When set and programmed to Direct Addressing Mode, the ILED-S uses its own
unique address to follow the status of a single device or a group of devices in the
same addresssable device circuit.
Controls and Indicators The LED indicator is capable of flashing any one of three distinct colors: green,
yellow, or red. In passive mode, the ILED-S continuously checks the information on
the loop for the device it is programmed to follow.
Based on the results of these checks, the LED indicator flashes the following:
