The worldwide
standard for
home and
building control
Many flexible benefits –
KNX/DALI gateway Twin plus
Integrating DALI lighting systems into building control
based on KNX safely, efficiently and comfortably.
Dual use
The compact KNX/DALI gateway Twin
plus now also comes in a single-channel
variant. Both KNX/DALI gateways can be
configured with the ETS. The Twin plus
version has two DALI outputs that can
be configured independently, while the
single-channel variant has only one DALI
output. Up to 64 DALI actuators per chan-
nel can be controlled simultaneously by
broadcasting, divided into 16 groups per
channel, individually or integrated into
16 scenes per channel. An integrated
interference voltage detection system
protects the DALI outputs against instal-
lation errors.
New and efficient function upgrades
Reliable support for testing emergency
lighting systems allows the test results
to be archived both via KNX and in an
internal memory. Targeted switching to
standby mode optimizes energy use by
reducing the rest current of the electronic
ballasts. Other integrated functions such
as an astro function, control of effects,
constant light control, scene control and
burn-in function round out the possible
applications.
Efficient engineering and
commissioning
The use of ETS apps* makes engineering
much more efficient and configuration
and commissioning easier and faster.
The ETS apps achieve this by exchanging
planning data as well as through batch
operations when switching applications.
Optimized downloads via KNX allow for
reliable startup of the device. Defective
electronic ballasts can be replaced with-
out software modifications.
Highly flexible installation
Lighting control can be implemented flexi-
bly with KNX- or DALI-capable sensors. In
standard applications, DALI lighting sys-
tems can be configured without using ETS.
