Logic Module N 301
Description
The Logic Module N 301 applies logic operations, such
as AND and OR gates, to group addresses received.
One or more results of the logic operations can be
returned to the bus as group telegrams. This device
Selected applications allow you to allocate and
‘multiply’ received telegrams according to the actual
status of the selection objects (sensors).
The Logic Module N 301 performs different tasks
depending on the application program that is used. For
example, the number of logical inputs and outputs and
specific logic operations can be selected, and telegram
transmission may be controlled according to the
outcome of a certain logic operation.
ETS (Engineering Tool Software) is used to select the
application program, assign parameters and
addresses, and transfer this data into the Logic Module
N 301.
Application Programs
11 CO AND-8/2 720101 (8 inputs, 2 outputs)
One AND gate and one OR gate
8 inputs, 2 outputs. Inputs can be allocated to
either or both gates.
Inputs and/or outputs may be inverted.
Send conditions can be specified for each output
(for example, send on specific value or transition)
11 CO INV-4/4 740301 (4 inputs, 4 outputs)
Functions as inverter or pass-through for binary
signals.
4 inputs, 4 outputs.
Send conditions can be specified for each output
(for example, send on specific value or transition).
Value on bus voltage recurrence can be specified.
12 CO Binary 740A01 (Partition Control, 1-bit)
Forward switching telegrams from one object to
another based on four select-inputs. For example,
forwarding from one room section to another
depending on the position of moveable room
dividers.
Two groups with up to four different 1-bit group
addresses each.
12 CO Binary 740B01 (Partition Control, 8-bit)
Forward 8-bit value telegrams from one object to
another based on four select-inputs. For example,
forwarding from one room section to another
depending on the position of moveable room
dividers.
Two groups with up to four different 8-bit group
addresses each.
