Energy-efficient technology
for the entire building
Standard controllers
HVAC controllers from Siemens can be
customized to meet a variety of requirements,
based on factors such as comfort needs, size,
lifecycle, and the building’s operating times.
The product range includes everything you need, from
standalone heating controllers to communications-capable
Synco™ HVAC controllers with standard pre-programmed
applications. Quick and easy networking of multiple buildings
for the purpose of remotely controlling and monitoring the
HVAC systems is also possible.
Room automation
Whether you require comfortable conditions
in individual offices, restaurants, or foyers,
Siemens offers flexible, adaptable room auto-
mation controllers for every application. You
can control not only heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
but also lighting and shading – conveniently and in a way
that is energy efficient.
Home automation
Synco™ living is the ideal system for single-
and multi-family houses. With Synco living,
you can very conveniently control heating,
ventilation, and air conditioning as well as
lights, blinds, and much more, based on demand, while
using up to  percent less heating energy. An added bonus:
Synco living clearly displays consumption data.
Building control technology
GAMMA instabus, the building control
technology from Siemens, is based on the
worldwide KNX standard for room and building
automation that guarantees interoperability
with all certified KNX devices currently on the market.
The comprehensive GAMMA product portfolio comprises
intelligent field devices and enables networked applications
such as the lighting, solar protection, heating, ventilation,
and air conditioning of rooms and buildings.
Room thermostats
For energy-efficient temperature control,
Siemens offers a comprehensive range of stand-
alone and communication-capable thermostats
for all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
applications. With their patented control technology, they
maintain a consistent temperature level and thus an especially
comfortable room climate.
Sensors
The Symaro™ range of sensors provides you with
the right sensors for temperature, humidity, air
quality, pressure, flow, and solar as well as sen-
sors for simultaneous acquisition of multiple
measured variables. Flexible installation: From flush-mounting
to strap-on sensors, all standard models are available. With their
precise and rapidly recorded measurements, these devices
create the optimal basis for precise – and thus energy-efficient
and cost-effective – control of the entire HVAC system.
Valves and actuators
Acvatix™ is a versatile range of valves and
actuators that are easy to use and deliver
maximum control accuracy as well as energy
efficiency. With Acvatix, you can quickly and
easily meet all control and hydraulic requirements associated
with the generation, distribution, and use of heating and
cooling. Whether intuitive operation or coupling via bayonet
mount – you get products that make your day-to-day tasks easier.
Damper actuators
OpenAir™ is the comprehensive range of damper
actuators for HVAC applications, air volume
control and fire and smoke protection dampers.
You benefit from a wide selection of positioning
forces, control signals, communications standards, and add-on
options that are tailored to suit your needs. Other advantages
include ease of installation and extreme durability during
operation and transport as well as on the construction site,
along with low-consumption motors, fast and precise control,
and long lifecycles.
Variable speed drives
The GP variable speed drive from Siemens
is ideal for efficiently controlling air and liquid
media in commercial and residential HVAC
systems. The GP supports a number of
strategies for controlling fans and pumps, which can achieve
up to  percent energy savings compared to conventional
control methods.
Meters
With meters from Siemens, the precise
measurement and allocation of the energy
consumption in office buildings and residential
areas is no problem. Standardized M-bus and
pulse outputs permit quick and easy integration into building
automation systems. Wireless read-out via radio frequency
or a network connection eliminates the need for appointments
with the meter-reading service.

Central heating and cooling
Office space
Living space
Around 40 percent of the world’s total
energy is consumed in buildings. That’s why
it’s worth investing in intelligent building
technology that significantly reduces energy
consumption.
To take full advantage of the energy-saving
potential in buildings, you need the right
components.
