Wide-ranging applications Weather stations are used to control solar protection systems of all kinds (roller shutters, blinds, awnings, electric windows, etc.) via appropriate solar protection actuators. The devices record weather data such as temperature, brghtness and wind. The weather station GPS AP 257/61 records additionally rain and is able to work as master clock, as the built-in GPS receiver is a reliable reference for time and date within the KNX network.
