Optimum control
requires accurate
measurements
A control operation is only as good as the measuring
accuracy of the sensors which detect the control
variable (temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.) and
transmit it to the controller as an actual value. While
this process hasn’t changed, the measuring technol-
ogy and methods for mounting sensors are more
cutting-edge than ever before.
Legal regulations increasingly appeal for the eco-
nomic use of energy. At the same time, the indoor
climate must meet stringent requirements. Both
requirements can be fully met only if all necessary
measured data are available and the sensors remain
absolutely reliable year after year. Sensors thus form
a key basis for optimizing energy efficiency in rooms.
Professional and high-quality products are needed to
meet this goal – along with a few practical basic rules.
This manual was written by practitioners for practi-
tioners and has become a popular and indispensable
reference book over the last few years.
