Commissioning a
KNX/Ethernet system (LAN)
In GAMMA instabus projects, the devices are commis-
sioned after installation. Once the physical addresses have
been assigned, application programs, parameters and
addresses are loaded to the devices. This can take some
time, particularly in large projects with many devices.
The LAN connection from Siemens makes it all go much
faster, saving you time and money. Just connect your
notebook to the GAMMA instabus via the IP interface and
start the download. With a LAN connection, the download
takes only half as long as it does with USB.
