Event and Schedule Module N 341
Description
The Event and Schedule Module N 341 is used to
define and process event programs and schedule
programs.
Event Programs
Up to 200 event tasks can be assigned to up to 200
event programs. Event tasks are single actions, such
as opening a blind. Event programs contain a list of
event tasks that are performed in sequence. Optional
delays may be added between the event tasks. Event
programs can be triggered by bus telegrams, direct
commands from tools, or other event programs. Up to
100 different trigger events can be defined.
Event programs are defined by setting the desired
values for each of the objects to be controlled and by
saving them in ETS (Engineering Tool Software).
Then, the program is downloaded to the Event and
Schedule Module N 341.
Schedule Programs
Up to 400 time tasks can be defined to trigger actions
at a particular time of day; these commands can be
assigned to a maximum of 125
day programs.
Day programs contain a list of tasks that are performed
at defined times during a 24-hour period. They are not
tied to a specific day or date. For example, a day
program would be set up for a type of day, such as a
work day, weekend day, or holiday.
Individual day programs can be executed daily,
monthly or yearly on a particular day when assigned to
a calendar item. They may also be executed by day of
the week or other repeatable pattern.
Calendar items define an individual date or date range
for execution of the day programs. Up to 150 calendar
items are supported. For proper operation of schedule
programs, the Event and Schedule Module N 341
internal clock must be synchronized regularly by a
master clock.

Event Features:
• 200 event programs can manage up to 200 event
tasks
• Event programs or day programs may be
accompanied by text strings of up to 14 characters
when triggered.
Scheduling Features:
• 125 day programs can manage up to 400 time
tasks
• Day programs can be assigned to 150 calendar
items (individual dates or a range of dates)
• Up to three repeating patterns of operation (for
example, a weekly schedule) can be defined, each
consisting of 2 to 40 days.
