3-sectional switching
With GAMMA instabus, it is easy to imple-
ment so-called “3-sectional switching“:
One third of the lamps remains on all the
time to ensure a basic level of brightness.
This means that, due to the larger number
of operating hours, the lamps in operation
would have to be replaced before the other
lamps.
When using GAMMA instabus, all lamps
are switched in turn to provide the basic
level of brightness. As a result, due to
even loads, all lamps can be replaced at
the same time. Since the number of oper-
ating hours and switching cycles are dis-
played, the time the lamps have to be
replaced can be indicated.
Due to even loads on the lamps in the case of “3-sectional switching“,
all lamps can be replaced at the same time, thus lowering maintenance
costs.
