Caution: It is not permissible to connect motion detector center
units in parallel.
Extension units
The sensing range of the center unit can be extended by means
of a motion detector extension unit insert used in conjunction
with a motion detector top. Motion detector extension unit inserts
issue brightness-independent motion signals to the center unit.
The brightness evaluation and the delay time are determined by
the center unit.
Mechanical pushbuttons
By using a mechanical pushbutton without a glow lamp , the
lighting can be switched on or retriggered irrespective of the
current brightness level.
It is not possible to switch off the lighting.
Note:
• Long and short operation have the same effect.
• It is not permissible to connect motion detector center units in
parallel.
• If the mechanical pushbutton requires lighting, the 5TD2114
type can be installed
if there is a neutral conductor.
