Operating the Standard Mobile Unit Switching Functions
You can forward an external call to another external subscriber.
There are three types of external call forwarding (see also “Glossary“, page 171)
● immediate, ● when busy, ● delayed (after 5 rings).
The external call forwarding function can only be used on a multiple device connection together
with multiple subscriber numbers. Call forwarding can be set for each multiple subscriber num-
ber.

Press these keys one after another.
!...§ Use the number key pad to determine
the type of call forwarding (here 1):
1 Immediate call forwarding.
2 Call forwarding when busy.
3 Call forwarding delayed for 5 rings.

Press the redial key repeatedly to search
for multiple subscriber numbers.
Each MSN is preceded by a slot num-
ber, here number 2.
or:
o Use the number key pad to select the
multiple subscriber number using its
slotnumber (here 2).
o
Use the number key pad to reenter the
number of an external subscriber to
whom the call should be forwarded.
w Press the save key to complete the pro-
cedure
A defined call forwarding option will be
shown with a ”U“ in the display when
üis pressed.
Once the call has been forwarded you will be charged for the connection from your phone
to the forwarded destination.
Example:
Below is a list of call forwarding definitions for 3 used multiple subscriber numbers.
3 1 08912345 (Multiple subscriber number 1)
1 2 77745678 (Multiple subscriber number 2)
2 3 0111111 (Multiple subscriber number 3)
These values mean:
Call forwarding when no one answers (for MSN 1) to 08912345 e.g. at home evenings.
Immediate forwarding (for MSN 2) to 77745678 e.g. on holiday
Call forwarding when busy (for MSN 3) to 0111111 e.g. to the secretary.
