Putting the mobile unit into service

Enter the mobile unit system code
(eight-digit) and confirm the entry with
the display key –
symbols are dis-
played instead of digits.
if necessary, press the display keys
and to correct an

The mobile unit is successfully logged
on (registered) if the ring symbol
flashes (this can take up to 30 sec-
onds).
The mobile unit ready to receive or
transmit calls if this display is retained.

Note:
Base/system:
cordless EM mobile units are not logged
onto bases (base stations), but rather onto the
Hicom 150 E / Hicom 150 H telephone system. In this
case,
ìã-! always means
DECT** system.
No
ring symbol is displayed if the logon procedure was
unsuccessful.
