Overview – beeps
Beep type Explanation, note Default
Key Beeps
Audible each time a key is
pressed
.

Batt. Low Beep
Audible approx. 5 minutes before
the battery runs out.

Range Warning
Audible when you leave the radio
range.
Off
Confirm Beep
Audible if a local function/set-
ting was successfully per-
formed
.

Error Beep
Audible if a function/setting was
not
successfully performed.
Also in the case of erroreous/
unauthorised entries.

In Range Beep
The in range beep is audible if the
mobile unit is reconnected to a
base station (resynchronised
with base).
