Saving the prefix (APL)
Prerequisite: It is necessary for your PABX to enter a
prefix, such as “0”, before the telephone numbers for
external calls (see page 99).

Switching temporarily to tone dialling
If your PABX still operates with dial pulsing (DP) but
tone dialling (DTMF) is required (for example to check
your mailbox) you must switch to tone dialling (DTMF)
during the call.
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call!

For example: 0 089 123456.

The prefix that you store here is always inser-
ted and dialled automatically before the tele-
phone numbers in the caller list and the
emergency numbers.

Only if your PABX is connected to the analogue
fixed network will your Gigaset's mailbox fea-
tures be active.
